The current contract for banking services was due to end in January 2021 and a full procurement had been carried out to seek a provider of general banking services for the next five years. The five year contract would enable South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) to operate on a day to day basis and would include the provision of procurement cards. A comprehensive procurement pack, which included a full Statement of Requirements, was advertised openly on the Chest. The specification set out SLDC’s detailed requirements.
